Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. My brother was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma when he was 19 years old. It was Christmas. He had a 4lb tumour in his chest when they operated and his chances of survival in 1984 weren’t good. He died in the August 1985 at only 20 years old. His life was about to begin and then it was taken away from him. We have never recovered from losing him. My mum lost a son and I lost my brother, my best friend. I have fibromyalgia and find walking difficult. But I want to do this for my brother and everyone else who has been touched by cancer. My family will be walking with me and with their support I will do it. Please help us raise as much as we can to help defeat this terrible illness. Thank you xx
