Story
When you join a club, you gain an extra family. You weave your own web of support, and each of these webs comes together to form a giant web in times of need. We’ve been affected by cancer too many times since our formation in 1995, and our most recent loss is Lu. LuLu was a Harlequin through and through. She gave so much to our club over the years, both on and off the pitch, and she was bloody fearless. A little Italian pocket rocket, who treated us to baked delights and cheeky bum shots of the players whenever we visited the Stoop. We will miss her spirit, loyalty and commitment terribly. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we’re taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
