Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. Hannah's Mum, Julie was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in January 2017, she was given the all clear in August. Triple Negative Breast Cancer is a rare type of breast cancer, it's found in about 1 in 5 women with breast cancer (15-20%). It occurs more commonly in women under the age of 40. Julie was 52 when she sadly passed away in May 2018 after being re-diagnosed in the November of 2017. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
