Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. At the very last minute, we've decided that we can just about fit another Race for Life in this Sunday . . . so if any of you lovely people could please just spare a pound or three for a super important cause, that would be amazing. Granster's Gang will be running and walking Race for Life in Newbury on Sunday and will this year be: Granster Jan, Tasha, Keira, Hollie and myself. Hoping Hollie doesn't need a piggy back quite so often this year though! The past year has really reminded me why we do Race for Life and other charity events, even if only to feel like we're helping in a tiny, microscopic little way which will help add up to bigger things. I will be thinking of friends that we have sadly lost to this horrendous disease (and their lovely families) and those who are still bravely fighting it. Thanks everyone! Bex xxx
