Who’s your hero ? Mine is my little sister Grace. When I think back to when I was 15 I had not a care in the world ! which is as it should be. On the 17th January 2020 Grace was told she had lymphoma. Within 24 hours her life completely changed. Going through more than some people endure in a lifetime. A physical and emotional roller coaster. She has taken everything in her stride ! Keeping a smile on her gorgeous face. We are just at the start of Graces journey and she is going to get through this one step at a time. You always think this will never happen to me or a loved one But Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. It’s easy to live in a bubble until it’s happening to someone you love. So much is involved that people don’t see. From the nurses & doctors to the charity’s helping on the wards. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so every penny helps !!.
