Story
Hi Everyone, This year we are racing to raise money for Cancer Research. Cancer has massively effected our lives and the people we love. For the last 2 years I have been training to be a Therapeutic Radiographer in the NHS, this has opened my eyes to how this horrible disease effects people and their families and has highlighted the importance of research and how it can change peoples lives. We are racing in memory of our Nan, Lena King who sadly passed away in September 2019, research allowed us to have so many amazing years with her and memories we will cherish forever. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
