The #goals team consists of Gurpreet, Satinder, Gurpinder, Sharren, Pavan, Julie, Taran, M and Lucy. We all have experienced loss of people we know and love to cancer. Lucy is walking for her Nan as she is currently battling cancer, after a stage 4 diagnosis two years ago. 'This is something that has affected my Mum, causing her to require preventative surgery and which inevitably also highlights a risk to all women in our family' says Lucy. 'My Nan has been so brave through all of her treatments and I only wish that we could give her the assurance that these treatments will work and she will recover. Cancer affects everyone, those who have lead a completely healthy life can fall victim to this horrible disease, no matter how amazing of a person they are, cancer doesn’t care. So, please donate so that this walking can be a small step towards a bright future in which cancer doesn’t take away those we love'
