MY REASON. MY JOURNEY. MY REASON. 2016 was a big hit for my family, my Mum Alison was hit with cancer. Due to Alison's strength and determination, vital treatment and support from the fantastic team at Ashford Hospital and support from family and friends. My reason does however come down to the AMAZING support from individuals, who have taken the time to read story's like mine, sponsor and raise funds. Without these events being created by Cancer Research UK team, beating cancer just doesn't seem possible. I have always understood how important it is to raise funds for charity's. One day you may need one of the many amazing charity's which make it possible for US to carry on "living the life you love and to love the life you lead". MY JOURNEY. My journey started out 25th June 2016, Guildford Pretty Muddy. That day felt simply FABULOUS. Ever since my first PRETTY MUDDER i have completed 9 events, covering 50.8 miles and raised over £1500. some events have been harder than others, all good reason to keep challenging yourself . The feeling of Achievement is very infectious. I have entered into three 5K events for this year, sadly there are no hiking events organised :-(. My total goal for all 3 events is £150.
