Jen’s journey; “At the beginning of 2015 I was given the devastating news I had Hodgkin Lymphoma. I was pregnant with my daughter and was terrified I would lose her. My consultant Dr Malladi explained to me that as chemotherapy would start in the second trimester of pregnancy, my baby wouldn't be affected as she had her own blood supply in the womb. I finished chemo 6 weeks before my due date and on 22nd July 2016 gave birth to my beautiful daughter Sophia. 6 weeks after she was born I was given the amazing news I was in remission! Sophia turned one last week and I would like to give something back to the doctors and researchers who saved mine and my daughter's life.”
