Mum was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in May last year which we later found out is sadly incurable. After months of different treatments including chemotherapy, radiotherapy & CBD oil in an effort to try and shrink the tumours, we found out through scans that mums cancer has started to grow back. Cancer is something you never expect will affect you, a family member or a friend but it is happening right now. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, which is why we’re taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. We are racing in honour of those who have won their battle, those who have sadly lost their battle and also those who continue to put up a fight every day. Mum you are the bravest, strongest most courageous woman we know and we admire the fight you have put up so far and that you continue to, we are all behind you through every step of the way.
