Story
At a recent trip to Centre Parcs Nic explained that she had signed up to do the race for life (even though she had done no preparation). She would walk it this year, she said, and run it next year! she asked if we would like to do it with her, I said we would think about it! We are now walking(Vic)/running(Rachel) this for her. Vic’s story - Nic was the most courageous woman I have ever known and knowing that we will no longer hear her laughter, feel her amazing hugs and hear her (sometimes brutal!) advice has left me completely numb. I know that fighting cancer was cause close to Nic (having won the battle herself) and I am absolutely honored to walk in her place. I was 21 when I lost my dad to cancer and it is hard to think about my life since then and all the things he has missed, my marriage, career progression and The Chisholm sisters little adventures! I am also walking this for him. Xx
