Our NCT group were devasted when Claire got cancer. She found out shortly before giving birth to her beautiful son, Alex. Not only did she bravely do chemo and radiotherapy (and more) while caring for her newborn, she did it with grace, humour and a smile on her face. The cancer spread, but luckily, she had great treatment and she is now in remission and working hard to get back to full health after being diagnosed with HLH. And this is all while her lovely husband Trev and her parents work to support her and look after Alex, now almost 14 months. This is to show how much we care for you, Claire, and how we hope progress is made so no new mum has to go through this again.
