Story
Flynn was diagnosed with Bilateral Retinoblastoma at just 7 months old, and nothing could have prepared us for this news. Through Flynns diagnosis, we discovered he had several tumours in both eyes, with the left having the largest of them all. His vision is impaired due to this and the left only has light perseption. We had no idea what all this meant for him, what his future would look like, what a diagnosis like this would entail and how family life would change. 3 months later, many hospital visits and overnight stays, plenty of needles, meds and appointments, and we're still trying to navigate life in this new form. But Flynn has remained strong, resilient and smiling through it all, its been a bloody hard journey so far and we really don't know how he's doing it! Our little star 🌟 What's also suprised us, is the amazing support we have received throughout his treatment so far. From the hospitals we visit regularly, the nurses and doctors we see all the time, the charities that keep in contact to help us out, and the speed in which he's received treatment. We are only 3 months into this journey and we can not fault anything we've experienced. But unfortunately, you often don't get to see the amazing things people do to make you better until you are in a devastating position like this yourself. So, with this in mind, we are walking, and raising money, for a fantastic charity. A charity that has meant Flynn is able to receive treatment for his specific cancer, and will continue too until he beats this thing. So please, if you can, donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Anything at all helps, and means other children can receive life saving treatment too. Thank you
