We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer

Story

A determined group of staff are taking on the mighty challenge of walking a half‑marathon 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️. No sprinting, no racing… but still a very long way to walk! Thirteen miles is nothing to sniff at, and there is no doubt there will be aching feet, tired legs and a lot of encouragement needed along the way. It may not be a race, but it will absolutely test determination and stamina (and the quality of everyone’s trainers). Many of the staff have been personally affected by cancer. It has touched families, friends and people within or close to the school community, making this a cause that really matters. By stepping up together, one foot painfully in front of the other, the team hopes to raise money, awareness and hope. Cancer is happening right now, which is why fundraising for Cancer Research UK is happening right now. There truly is no time to lose. Every pound donated helps fund life‑saving research and brings us closer to a future where cancer no longer has the power to turn lives upside down.
