After a rubbish 2020 for everyone, Oct 2020 then threw another obstacle at me (Fiona), I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was found early and with ongoing treatment I will fight to get rid of it. So... Me, my sister (who has never run in her life lol), daughter and niece and are going to try and get fit and do this 5k (I was running 5k or more every other day before this cancer hit me- now I’ve lost that level of fitness). Lots of people have now signed up including my mum, cousin, one of my best mates and many other wonderful friends - creating Team Fiona. What wonderful people and what an incredible community I come from. I’m so lucky to have so much support and am looking forward to the day itself ❤️ I have received fantastic services from our nhs and am currently undergoing radiotherapy treatment, and other treatments which will continue for many years.
