We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer

Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. All team members have all been affected by cancer, either by loved ones or beating cancer themselves, and we all have been touched by the stories of other survivors and the stories from the fallen Angels. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Currently 50% of the people diagnosed in England and Wales will survive their disease for 10 years or more but generally the survival is higher for people diagnosed 40 years or younger and we want to change this! Cancer survivors have doubled in the past 40 years and it is from the money that you donate that will help to continue with the research for improvements of technology and the ground breaking work to find new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so no matter how big or small, please donate!
