We're a group of ladies that get together a few times a week for our Fever Fitness - Zumba® and FitSteps® classes. Our ages range from 12 - 85! We love going along but it's not just about the exercise - we've found that over the years, we've become a close-knit group/community that tries to support each other wherever possible. Like any community, too many of us have been affected by cancer. Some of our ladies have had cancer themselves or they have family members and friends that have been affected. We really want to do all that we can to help so we're joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. We're going to set ourselves a slightly different challenge - we're not going to walk or run the course - we're going to DANCE Zumba® steps all the way round! It's definitely not going to be easy - it'll be quite a physical challenge but with the music to spur us on, we'll do it for sure! It may take us a while to get round but we'll pace ourselves to allow everyone to manage it no matter what their level of fitness. We're looking to get as large a group as possible together so if you want to join us, we'd love to have you. The steps will be straightforward and so easy to pick up plus, we'll be having informal rehearsals before the big day so you'll be absolutely fine and you'll have loads of fun too.
