No-one will ever be able to describe the feeling of hearing your family member has been diagnosed with cancer. When my mum made that awful phonecall it felt like all my insides fell out in front of me. I can't imagine, and don't want to imagine how it would feel to receive that diagnosis direct. My mum was one of the lucky ones and beat it with an amazing fight, I'd also say our family were the lucky ones too. I'd be lost without my beautiful amazing mother, and my son was be lost without his amazing nanny moo.
