Why Team Ruby? Well my friend Emma is currently going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. She was incredibly lucky that her new puppy, Ruby, kept nudging her boob and bothering her, which led Emma to find the lump in her breast, early. We think Ruby deserves a medal for being an ace detection dog in the making.!!! Emma has created a team of friends and family to join her on a sponsored walk, as she wanted to have something to focus on that was in the future. We managed to convince her that the full marathon was not a good idea, (whilst still going through chemo), and so we will be walking the #shine London half marathon for Cancer research, on Saturday 21st September.
