Story
I was diagnosed with invasive lobular cancer in February 2023. Since then I’ve undergone two surgeries. My first was a mastectomy with immediate tug flap reconstruction and sentinel lymph node removal. Unfortunately all my margins proved positive as well as my lymph nodes so a second surgery was decided to take down my reconstruction and remove all my lymph nodes. My cancer measured 104mm and 3 of my lymph nodes were positive. I am now due to start two lots of chemotherapy which finish in the new year. After chemo I will have radiotherapy and start hormone treatment. I’m looking forward to raising awareness and raising funds to help others going through their cancer journey.
