I can't believe I have finally persuaded Iz to run a Half Marathon with me!! In May 2021, our mum was diagnosed with lung cancer. It was a massive shock to our family and something you never think will happen to you. Our mum is the strongest and the most positive person we know, even after 8 months of immunotherapy and a round of radiotherapy she still has a smile on her face and continues to nag us on a daily basis. But we wouldn't change it for the world! Cancer treatment has come a long way in the last few years. We wanted to set ourselves the challenge of completing the LLHM together while raising as much as possible for Cancer Research UK, so they can continue their amazing research and support for families going through uncertain times. We would be really grateful if you could spare any pounds or pennies to help get closer to a cure for cancer. We would also love to see lots of friendly faces round the route - we are going to need alot of cheering on! Thank you so much!
