Cancer is happening right now, which is why Ellen and Elysia are taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Unfortunately, Ellen never got to meet her grandad Pat due to Bowel Cancer and recently received the horrible news that Cancer is affecting her family again. Ellen’s beautiful and brave mother was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer and has undergone major surgery and today 09/05/2019 after a difficult past few months for herself and all those who love her...Ellen received the text to say "I'M CANCER FREE!!" So, regular check ups for the next 5 years and the next few months recovering but she battered Cancer, recovery is a breeze! Tears of joy finally. Elysia will be running the race for life in loving memory of her amazing Nana and Pa and anyone else that has sadly been affected in any way by this disease. So, time for us to get our running shoes and promise to not complain when our unfit self gets a cramp or we swallow a load of mud and to ask if you could please please PLEASE donate whatever you can, every little truly helps.
