Drive by Miss Daisies

We are doing the race for life in June and trying to raise awareness and funds for cancer research uk and specifically for breast cancer awareness. Our dear friend Becci has breast cancer. Becci has been part of all our lives, she is a wonderful friend to have. She has always been this way, so positive and inspiring. Well breast cancer hasn’t changed this fact! In your face cancer!! She is still awesome 😎 If anything she is unbelievably more inspirational, proactive and just damn right lovely. She’s hitting her treatments head on. She’s currently having chemo, then plans for surgery, followed by radiotherapy. She is taking the rough with the smooth and has an amazing family & friends supporting her. She lives in Sheffield with her husband & 2 year old son. They are a brilliant family unit and are very proactive at raising awareness for cancer research and blood donation. Our team is called Drive by Miss Daisies. We are a group of close friends who have witnessed Becci’s strength through all of this, the amazing treatments & support she has and continues to receive from the staff at Weston Park Hospital. We want to give something back. We want to say thank you for looking after our Becci. We want to support research to help all those with cancer. We want to raise breast cancer screening awareness.
