Story
On January 3rd this year, we lost someone very special and close to our heart - Dina, a mum, a sister, an auntie, a friend and so much more. Dina had Oesophageal Cancer and sadly lost her battle to it only nine months after her diagnosis. We witnessed first-hand as Dina bravely fought a very challenging battle. If there was anyone we thought could overcome this, it would have been her. Little did we know that the survival rate for women with Oesophageal Cancer is extremely low, just 38% for one year or more after diagnosis. Dina was a fighter, even before the Cancer, she was one of the strongest women you would have met. Her courage and strength to fight has inspired us, her family and friends to do this half marathon walk. We hope you find this a worthy cause and if so would be willing to give a donation to support Cancer Research UK. Every penny will help. Let's fight Cancer and beat it one step at a time!! Thank you in advance for your support.
