Story
We are a close group of friends who last December were, like many, looking forward to celebrating Christmas. Then the week before Diana dropped the bombshell that she had been diagnosed with cancer. She's bravely, with a lot of love and laughter, been through surgery, is currently having chemotherapy, with radiotherapy to follow and if all goes according to plan she should be finished treatments by the end of June. Diana has the dream of doing the Brighton Race for Life 5k on 30th June to mark what is hopefully the end of her personal journey, surrounded by the friends who have supported her through this difficult time. She has a vision of crossing that finish line, dressed in pink with all her pink cheerleaders around her, arms raised in the air. So if you are in the Brighton area why not sign up and join us? We will be walking the course together as a team and crossing that finish line together. If you would like to support us but are further afield, please consider donating. Diana has been lucky so far, we have been lucky, but think of the people that haven't. This is why we want to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Any donation would be appreciated as it all adds up and together we can help others to survive cancer. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
