Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. All of us have done many races in the past to raise money for those loved ones we have lost but this time my lovely sister and nieces are running for me, I was diagnosed last month with breast cancer and am now the 8th member of our maternal family line to be affected. I am taking part in a study at Addenbrooks Hospital so they can look at my genome which will help in identifying changes in DNA and understanding why we are more likely to develop a disease like breast cancer, my involvement is being closely monitored and allowing them to do biopsies and take blood. This is a small price for me to pay if it will help my family and others too. BUT this research costs money so we are hoping that you will help by donating and support us with our challenge.
