Story
In June 2015 we went through everyone's worst nightmare....we lost a loved one...a mother,a daughter,a sister,an aunt and a friend....Deb was the life and soul of the party and anyone who knew her would remember that. She always had a smile on her face and more than usually a glass of wine in her hand! In March 2015 a tumour was found in her bladder,she underwent surgery in Southmead Hospital in Bristol on 11th May and returned home 3 weeks later awaiting further results....sadly the cancer was too aggressive and she was taken into Great Western Hospital another 2 weeks later where they found the cancer had spread to her lungs and liver....we lost her 5 days later just weeks shy of her 49th birthday. As a family we have managed to power on through as she would want us to....but we miss her every day. So to fight back to this dreadful disease and in hope of this being picked up sooner,research for better ways of treatments and for support for friends and family members of lost loved ones we are raising money for this worthy cause....so dig around in those pockets and spare whatever you can,a little can go a long way if we all chip in. So to all those who have lost their battle,the brave ones who are currently fighting theirs,the family and friends of the suffering....and for Deb....we salute you....screw you cancer.
