Will cancer ever happen to me you say.. Probably not.. And even if that thought does come in to your mind u quickly dismiss it,, why? Because that thought is to much to even contemplate.. So imagine having that nightmare as a realisation and having to tell tell your 4 children as well as deal with the diagnosis yourself.. This is my mothers new normal and she had that horrendous news to give.. Stage 4 terminal lung cancer.. Her future was bleak.. She keeps surpassing all expectations and fighting through.. She really is incredible with every symptom and severe pain daily.. She manages to carry on for her family husband children.. And grandchildren With the biggest smile.. And small but fierce outlook she is our 5ft 3.. 8 stone warrior.. And with cancer research her trial meds has given her 2 more years. And hopefully many more to come.. The pain and suffering this phenominal woman faces everyday.. The least we can go through are some blisters by walking this 10k with pride for cancer research to continue the great work..
