Unfortunately we lost our incredible Grandad to this awful disease in December 2020. Watching him go through the various treatments he tried, the pain he felt and still fight for as long as he did with such bravery and dignity has inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and attempt to run 5k in order to raise more awareness and vital funds towards cancer research. Luckily for my amazing partner, I am dragging him along for the ride to! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
