Cancer is happening right now, which is why Team CSSC South West are coming together & taking part in Race for Life events all over the Region to raise money and help save lives. Members will be having fun walking, jogging and running helping to make a difference and beat cancer. And did you know men can also sign up to take part. With children also able to join in many events the whole family can come along. Events are ranging from 3km, 5km and 10km and also include muddy obstacles courses. With 1 in 2 people now being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime many of us will either have been directly affected by cancer or know someone who has. "I have been diagnosed with myeloma a form of blood cancer that currently has no cure. It can only be kicked into remission but thanks to research the possibility of new treatments are improving all the time." Victoria - CSSC SW Health & Wellbeing Champion (Volunteer).
