Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we’re taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. My mum (Emma), Sister (Sophie), Brother in Law (Jordan) and I are taking part in the Race for Life to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity. 2 out of the 4 of us have experienced cancer ourselves but all 4 of us know families and friends that have been hugely affected by this disease, which is why we are taking part in the Race for Life for those who can’t. It’s thanks to donations that we are making progress in preventing cancer, diagnosing it earlier and making treatments kinder and more effective. Cancer survival has doubled in the last 40 years but we still need to do more. We are running for every single person that has lost their battle with cancer, every single person still fighting and every family member & friend that has been affected by cancer. Together we will beat cancer.
