Story
As people close to me will know, my mum, Andrea sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2012 after losing her own mother 2 years earlier to the same horrible disease that affects so many of us! My Mum was beautiful, kind, caring, she was so fun and always had people laughing at her crazy stories! My mums sudden death took everyone who knew her by suprise, after being diognosed in July 2012 she sadly passed away in the September. Not a day goes by without my mum in my thoughts and the past 5 years have not been easy growing up without her here. I will be taking part in the Manchester Muddy 5k with some close friends to raise awareness, have some fun and hopefully raise a little bit of money towards a good cause. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
