Story
We have all had our own experiences with Cancer either through direct personal experience or through close family and friends. This year we thought we would challenge ourselves as a family to get fitter and raise some money in the process. I know this is a similar story to those that you have heard before by hundreds of others, but this is a first for us as a family. The last time I took part in anything similar to this, I vowed never again! (Mainly due to my poor preparation beforehand) We are hoping this 5K run will inspire Alex to continue his interest in Sports and raising awareness of good causes, whilst having quality family time training and fun in the process. Although I think Alex's real motivation is to have his name and number on his shirt and a medal at the end :oD Please give what you can and wish us luck. We’ll need it..!
