Story
We are the Computational Cancer Genomics (CCG) Lab at the UCL Cancer Institute, a group of passionate scientists and clinicians who work on developing computational methods to unravel cancer's mysteries! We believe that the use of computational tools in cancer genomics is essential to understanding this disease, and ultimately hope our work can contribute to improving cancer patient outcomes. We are all participating in this run to highlight the importance of funding cancer research in the academic and public setting, and we hope you will support us! If you'd like to know more about our work, see here (https://news.cancerresearchuk.org/2024/02/27/understanding-metastasis-in-the-light-of-evolution/) and here (https://sites.google.com/view/ccgresearchgroup). We ask and answer questions like: - Which cancer cells spread throughout the body? - Where in the body do cancer cells spread to? - When do cancer cells start spreading?
