Story
2020 was marred by more than the pandemic for our family. Luckily Clare's cancer story is a positive one of successful treatment and recovery. As much as this is our inspiration, we are not just taking part for Clare. Others we love including Paul’s Dad, Jean’s Dad, along with many other family members and friends, have had, have or passed away from Cancer. We are doing it for them and everyone we know who has been or is effected ❤️ Clare’s diagnosis has reminded us all that cancer is happening right now, to people and families all over the world, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives with our family and friends. None of us are runners and some of us will find this particularly challenging with current health and fitness levels, so this is a good challenge for us all to raise money and support each other as a family. Money raised goes toward also improving existing treatments, as well as finding new kinder treatments, cures and preventatives such as the HPV vaccine, that without donations like this and research, would never of been possible. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, this statistic is real. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Please give what you can, if you can no matter how big or small ❤️ Thank you Clare, John, Rachel, Paul, Jean, Jasmine and Charlotte xxxxxxx
