Story
Our friend Sue unfortunately lost her battle with Cellular Cancer just 9 months after her diagnosis. After various different treatments didn't work Sue bravely decided not to carry on with any Chemotherapy and with dignity accepted that she only had a few months to live. This turned out only to be a matter of weeks before the cancer took hold and Sue went to sleep on 24th May, now free from any pain this cruel disease inflicted on her. Cancer affects far too many people, everyone knows someone that is or has been affected. Your sponsorship really does make a difference and every pound donated helps Cancer Research UK prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Sue was funny, warm and generous and honoured that we had joined up to Race For Life for her, we are honoured to call her a great friend and hope we do her proud. Lorena will be running in memory of her Ama Empe, who was freed from endometrial cancer on 14th September 2016. Also in loving memory of Margaret and Gill. Always in our thoughts X
