Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Before February of this year I couldn’t as much as run for a bus, but through the couch to 5K app this middle aged, over weight, arthritic and asthmatic woman is hoping to run 5k to raise money to fight the disease that took my grandad and then my best friend. My grumpy 11 year old daughter also wants to join me.
