We started taking part in race for life in 2015, our hero Chris Varley had been fighting cancer for over a year. On May 20th 2015 we was given the devastating news that Chris’s cancer was terminal. Donations came flooding in support of our wonderful Chris. She was so amazed with the support even though he was in immense pain he took the photo we proudly use as our banner. He was so proud of us all and we walked together as a family for him. We raised over £800! The generosity of people amazes us all. Sadly Chris passed away in July weeks after we completed race for life. We walk every year in his memory as a family and will walk every year for him. Please please please help us raise money to fight Cancer. Survival rates are up and that’s down to research, better care, quicker diagnosis & hard work.
