Clare and I will be taking part in this years Race For Life, Pretty Muddy 5K. Cancer has affected our family one too many times. In April 2012, our mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Thankfully, over the course of a year, she received chemo, an operation and radiotherapy, before being given the all clear. In 2015, our grandad was given a cancer diagnosis in the February and sadly, after a very short time, he passed away peacefully in the March. We will be taking on this challenge for those we have lost, those that have survived and for the research that goes in to hopefully one day beating this horrible disease.
