Despite the fantastic scientific developments made in recent years we are still not close enough to eradicating this cruel disease, and funding for cancer research helps to develop methods and techniques which could benefit us all in future - meaning more and more people have a better quality of life, and above all SURVIVE. After the success of R4L 2018, 9 of us are 'running' race for life in aid of Cancer Research, not just for loved ones affected but for us all.
