Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. When my dear friend Mel passed a few years ago, I was going to enter the Race for Life, but didn’t quite have the confidence to see it through at that time. This year I do and have got the whole family involved (including the dog), as well as my beautiful sis and friend. We are running to remember both Mel and our lovely friend Ellie who passed away earlier this year, again far too young.
