I doubt there's anyone out there who doesn't know someone who has been affected by cancer at some point...for Evie it became 'real' when she learnt that the mum of one of her best friends had beaten breast cancer twice. I'm proud to say that lady is one of my friends now too and so whilst that's just an isolated example of why we're doing this together, it's a pretty good one!
