Story
Just over seven years ago, Toni finished her treatment for a rare form of cancer (Burkitts Lymphoma). Complications meant that she had to go right back to the start, learning to walk again - physio, wheelchair, Zimmer Frame, the works. After leaving hospital in August 2013, she was determined to get back to her old self. It has been quite a process, but we reckon she's as normal now as she's ever likely to be! Lockdown brought us an opportunity to get on our bikes, for one of us it's been nearly 40 years and in my case, over 20, so it's been a bit of a learning curve! We are always keen to do whatever we can to support Cancer Research. Any opportunity to prevent a family going through the life changing experiences that we had gets our support. We have signed up for the 300 mile challenge and Toni has personally pledged to complete a minimum of 100 miles. If you can, please support both us and Cancer Research by making a donation, however small. One thing is absolutely certain and that is that it will help to change someone's life. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
