Story
We are determined that cancer will one day be a historic disease that no family needs to be afraid of. As a team we have all been touched by the fear that the word cancer evokes. We have watched friends and relatives walk the cancer journey. Last summer our runner Caroline started the breast cancer journey after a routine mammogram. We have watched, supported and walked the journey with her as friends. There has been many tears but a lot more laughter as we all supported each other as a team. Now we run as a team in order to raise vital funds for further cancer research and development. Breast cancer is not always the killer it once was but so much more can be done, both in terms of routine screening and treatments. Cancer touched her boob, we kicked it's butt!
