Story
I was 1st diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2004 after major surgery I had chemo for 6 months then 3 weeks of radiotherapy followed by a drug for 5 years. Then in 2010 we were told it was back in my neck and spine so treatment began again, we carried on and with family and a few close friends we got by. In 2012 we were then told it had gone into my shoulder and my liver we were devastated and so 5 years of trying 8 different chemo's they told us in March this year there was nothing more they could do for me. I'm now back on the drug tamoxifen and we take each day as it comes some are harder than others and I struggle but we still try to remain strong. That is my story and the reason for doing race for life as this will be my last chance,hopefully I will finish the course.
