Story
Bev, Dani and Nicole are running (walking) the Race for Life because like most families they have been affected by this terrible disease. Just in this past year two members within our family have been struck by Triple Negative Breast Cancer which is an uncommon type of breast cancer and another with skin cancer. They are all now cancer free and are survivors so we would like to help support others that are battling this terrible disease. Please remember It is so important that everyone is vigilant and checks their breasts frequently, and not to think I’m too young, too old, or it won’t happen to me. Cancer doesn’t care who you are, how old you are or anything - it will attack you if it wants to. PLEASE, please, please check yourself regularly. You can never tell what life holds for any of us in the future and charities like Cancer Research save many peoples lives and with our help could save a lot more. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we’re taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
