Story
Myself, Ellen and Elaine are taking part in the Night Shine Walk as a way of acknowledging and contributing to the amazing work that cancer research undertakes in order to advance the treatment for cancer. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2019, and following chemotherapy, double mastectomy and radiotherapy, I am now cancer free and on the final step of hormone treatment to keep it that way! I am truly grateful for the treatment that I was able to receive so that I can be in the position to join this event and give something back. As a team we will be taking part for me, but also in the memory of the wonderful Mr and Mrs T (Elaine’s mum and dad)! So many of our friends and family have been affected by this horrible disease directly and indirectly and will be in our thoughts as we make our way round the course. So please give what you can, every penny helps, THANK YOU XXX Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
