Story
Over the past 8 years for me, and five for Paul, we have run the London marathon - him fast, me slow, as part of our personal fundraising to help beat cancer. We should have been climbing Mount Kilimanjaro this year too as part of my 60th Birthday celebrations, but like so many important dates for so many, plans were thwarted due to Covid-19. On Sunday 4th October it will no longer be possible for us or anyone else to run the London Marathon we know and love, so we are going to do the next best thing. We are challenging ourselves to walk 26.2 miles of the beautiful welsh coastline, so that we can fund more research that we know is our best weapon against cancer. Cancer Research UK and cancer patients need our help now more than ever before and we are determined to complete this challenge with Hope in our hearts and continued fire in our bellies. Spurred on by those we have loved and lost and those we know who are still fighting, every effort will be made to raise as much as possible in these most unprecedented circumstances and difficult times. Any donation you can afford to give will be welcomed and much appreciated. Cancer- its big, but, together, we are a force to be reckoned with and the fight continues. Thank you from the bottom of our purple hearts with love Lynne & Paul xx
