Story
Most of you already know by now that Dawn and I have both lost loved ones to Cancer. My Mum and Dawn’s Auntie most notably but sadly, more friends and family too. They have always inspired us to do all we can to live in their honour every day. We try each year to do the race for life, even finishing twice last year when they’d measured the distance wrong!! This year we still want to raise money for much needed research. 2020 has turned out to be a year like no other. I sadly lost my Uncle Eddie to covid in the first few weeks of lock down. Some friends and family are furloughed, have been made redundant, we are back teaching wearing shields and masks-life has changed beyond recognition-but one thing is certain-we will still run our 5k and Be More Bob and Eddie. We understand that money is tight, if not non-existent for some, but if you can spare just £1 if you’re still fortunate to be in work, for our cause we would forever be grateful. I’ll kick things off!
