We are running to help raise money towards supporting Cancer Research UK. Every two minutes a person is diagnosed with cancer in the UK; to paint a picture in numbers: in 2014, 357,000 people received a cancer diagnosis. Only a half of them have a chance of surviving long-term. Cancer Research UK funds ground-breaking research through a variety of projects to deliver change in these statistics. They fund research institutes, experimental medicine centres, drug discovery facilities and clinical trials alongside other projects, programmes and training fellowships for researchers. We are both aspiring researchers and although Cancer Research isn't our field, we want to do our part. Help us support this great cause by donating money to Cancer Research UK through this page.
